District 3 Commissioner Tom McMahon has, and will continue to, deliver steady leadership and proven results.
Born and raised in Pompano Beach, Tom McMahon will always put Pompano Beach first.
Tom is a third generation native of Pompano Beach and has lived in District 3 his entire life. He graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 2001 and has a deep history of service to his hometown.
Tom is a past president of the Pompano Beach Historical Society, served on the Pompano Beach Preservation Board, championed cultural arts growth and volunteers with Woodhouse, a co-ed residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Since Tom’s election in 2018, Pompano has made pristine beaches a priority, created a dynamic food scene, and invested in public arts and Parks & Rec programming.
Tom’s priorities include:
- Common Sense Homeless Solutions
- Safer Neighborhoods
- Affordable Housing
- New Public Parks and Dog Parks
- Fighting Tax Increases
Today, residents and visitors benefit from Pompano Beach’s renaissance. Our city has become a top destination to start a family or visit.
Tom will continue to work hard to control growth and ensure Pompano Beach remains Florida’s “Warmest Welcome!”
