Three Tips for Staying in the Know
This is going to be a busy election season here in Pompano Beach; there are several candidates running in every one of the city’s five districts, and for mayor as well. Here are three tips for staying in the know as we get closer to Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.
How do I know what district I live in?
Finding your district is easy! Go to the City of Pompano Beach “City Commission District Map” page. If you’re not sure, you can click on the “ViewMap” link and type in your exact address, and it will show you what district you’re in.
How do I know who’s running in my district?
We’ve put together a list of the candidates running in each district. You can use that list to see who’s running and then find further information from the candidate directly. In addition, there will be many candidate forums that you can attend; we have a list of those that are already scheduled on our Events page.
Will there be early voting this year, and where will it be?
Yes. Early Voting begins in late October; the dates are set by the Broward Supervisor of Elections, and have yet not been published. We’ll have them on our Events page as soon as they are available, so check back often for updates.
